As part of the Singapore Land Authority's 25th Anniversary celebrations, we invite you to join us for a specially curated cacao ceremony at Fang Studio.
More than simply sharing a cup of cacao, this experience offers an opportunity to pause amidst the busyness of daily life and reconnect with the people, places, and stories that shape our sense of belonging.
Cacao ceremonies have long been used as spaces for reflection, gratitude, and community. Through the mindful sharing of ceremonial cacao, guided reflection, and meaningful conversation, participants are invited to slow down, become present, and cultivate a deeper appreciation for themselves, one another, and the world around them.
A Ceremony Created Especially for SLA25
While cacao ceremonies are a regular offering at Fang Studio, this edition has been thoughtfully designed to honour Singapore's land, heritage, and collective story.
Held within Fang Studio, which sits on the historic grounds of 195 Pearl's Hill Terrace, this cacao ceremony draws inspiration from the rich layers of history embedded within this site and the many transformations it has witnessed over time. As we gather together, we are reminded that the land beneath our feet is more than a physical space — it is a living archive of memory, culture, and community.
In celebrating SLA's 25-year journey, we also celebrate the ongoing stewardship of the places we inhabit and the connections that tie us to home.
