Chahui | Bizen Exhibition

In our practice, a chahui 茶會 is an experiential, immersive tea session with ceremonial or ritualistic elements, and typically follows a standard structure and form.

Coinciding with the advent of autumn and the Bizen exhibition, this is the inaugural chahui hosted at Fang. We invite to experience and celebrate the occasion with us.

What to expect:

1. The chahui lasts one hour, during which two teas and a confection will be offered.
2. The chahui will mostly be held in silence.
3. It is an experiential and intimate affair with some sense of formality.

As we will be seated on cushions on the floor around a low table, please dress as comfortably and appropriately as you wish.
