Tea Affairs
A tea experience should be built on beauty, knowledge, and sensorial engagement, and our tea events and sessions follow in that spirit and nature. Be it an exploratory session or a historically faithful reconstruction of specific tea customs, we invite you to our tea experiences in the hope that you may find inspiration and new discoveries in our conversations about the affairs of tea. In addition to tea experiences and workshops, we also offer a regular, systematic tea course addressing a range of fundamental topics and subjects. Conceived for the casual tea drinker and the serious hobbyist, the course seeks to offer a comprehensive treatment of tea from its history and culture to its aesthetics and contemporary practice, endeavouring to equip each participant with the requisite skills and knowledge in the affairs of tea.
Yoga
Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic style of yoga that involves synchronisation between evenness of breath and movement, emphasising a fluid, rhythmic flow through asanas with equal importance placed both on postures and the transitions between them. Our vinyasa classes prioritise postural alignment as a starting point to develop a safe practice, and explores how it can facilitate greater holistic health, self-regulation, mobility, and equanimity in our daily life. Structured to build foundation and strength, the individual is encouraged to approach yoga as a creative and imaginative endeavour.

Calligraphy
Calligraphy is an art form built on aesthetics, embodying both the intrinsic ‘principles’ of its practice, and a ‘vital force’ achieved through the personal expression of one’s emotions.
Although originating in ancient China, calligraphy is a mindful practice that offers nourishment to people of all backgrounds and ethnicities. Our calligraphy sessions integrate tradition with innovation, allowing participants from various fields to explore their inner flow through ink and brush. And by adopting a slower pace, focused attention, and regulated breathing, one can engage with this movement and heritage art in a deeply meaningful way.
I Ching
The I Ching, or Yijing, is a methodical system of divination that dates back approximately 3,000 years to the Zhou Dynasty. It serves as a powerful tool for self-inquiry and offers oracular discernment regarding the situations and challenges encountered in everyday life. Thinkers, philosophers, mathematicians, scientists, and even psychoanalysts like Carl Jung have been captivated by its effectiveness and complexity, viewing the I Ching as a timeless instrument for gaining depth and breadth of perspective, informing actions, and providing insights into matters beyond ordinary human understanding.
